Likewise is a distributor of floor coverings and matting and has the opportunity to consolidate the domestic and commercial floor covering markets to become one of the UK’s largest distributors in this sector.
Likewise incorporates Dandy by William Armes, Bruce Starke and Marquee Floors, three of the most recognised brands in the industry. With each business having been established for over 100 years they have now been brought together as one.
Likewise approached us to create a new brand and a range of impactful marketing materials that encapsulated the quality of the products they offer and also fitted with the brands that were already in place that sit under Likewise.
We started the branding project with William Armes. We suggested merging the William Arms name under the Dandy logo as this was their top selling product line, so a simple rebrand tweak worked well for this. This pushed on to creating a new look for Marquee flooring another important flooring sector within the business.
As part of the marketing material we produced the new Dandy catalogue based on the new look and feel created. Alongside a new set of business stationary, we created other print design products such as matt cards, flooring wallet examples and flyers.
All these assets were to go under one umbrella company named Likewise. We created a brand that was clean, simple and which could be used across many marketing channels and mediums. The bright orange arrow we used was inspired from the CEO’s favourite sports car to give the company a feel of speed and growth. The brand was created with the ability for adapting the logo for different areas across the UK, such as Likewise South East.
We then rolled out the brand on all marketing materials from business stationery to lorry livery design and we were given the exciting job of designing the vinyls for the CEO’s Radical race car in the Likewise brand.
The end result was an impactful brand that was extremely adaptable and worked effectively across all mediums. The client was delighted with the end result and the consistency achieved across all the Likewise brands.
Likewise has grown from strength to strength and with the help of our branding services are beginning to dominate the UK’s flooring sector. WP creative continue with Likewise on a regular basis to help drive their business forward.
Likewise are really pleased with the logo and image that WP created. They were given a brief of just the Likewise name and produced the style including the Flash reflecting a go ahead company.
